Carers Unite is an organization very close to my heart. Nicole has taught me through the work she does that helping and showing kindness comes in many forms and is not only limited to what we see as ‘the poor’! Anyone that has any need, no matter the size of your need, status, or religion, Carers Unite is ready to help. This is the community that Nicole has managed to create through her NPO. The great thing about Carers unite is that you can become involved in any capacity. All forms of help are welcomed, whether it’s your time, your money or simply reposting a flyer, showing kindness comes in many forms. When I look at all that Nicole has been able to do from modest beginnings to now, I cannot wait to see the rest of the journey! Her social media account is honestly just a fraction of what this organization does. Investing in this NPO is investing in our country! Carers Unite is the change we want to see! A new found friend of Carers Unite🤗.
So why did I wake up today? So my name is Elvicia Fortuin and today I woke up thankful to be part of this day and to make a difference in the lives of humanity.
So I met Nicole just a few hours before working with her. Oh my what a humble, energetic and amazing being she is. Her passion for what she does is so contagious. Contagious to the point where you want to do good to others all the time.
So, we , Old Mutual, partnered with Nicole from Carers Unite on a Nurses day Project. We acknowledged our un noticed hero’s with a small token of appreciation by donating branded cookies to the nurses at Falsebay Hospital and celebrating the day with them. The experience was ecstatic and to see the excitement and appreciation on the faces of these heros was absolutely phenomenal. Although the cookie might not have been much but it went a long way.
Our morning started off very eventful, but we delivered on what we want to.
It goes without saying that Carers Unite is an amazing organization. Nicole is the epitome of the name of the organization. Really bringing humanity together.

Carers Unite started supporting the residents at Douglas Murray Home for the Aged at the beginning of COVID lockdown. Not only does Nicole impact the lives of our residents and contribute towards sustaining our Programme but she pays specific attention to the mental health and wellbeing of our carers. Her motivational talks and recognition is of great value to our staff. She always makes us feel valued and shows such gratitude towards our service to the Aged. We value the impact that Carers Unite makes in our home.

I’ve known and worked with Nicole Roberts for so many years, alongside and spreading the word of all the great work she does with Carers Unite. So many people and places have benefited from CU with Nicole being the selfless, determined, driven and motivated person she is. I love working with and being part of all the CU initiatives. So much good has been done, CU leaves behind so many smiles wherever they go. Keep making a difference !!

Carers Unite is as the name depicts a NGO that through Nicole’s awesome and dynamic leadership seeks to unite various NGO seeking to promote and help those less privileged through collaboration.  Nicole is truly gifted at networking and linking the right people with each other making every project seem effortless. I came to Nicole wanting to get into giving back and she successfully linked me up with St Michael’s Child and Youth Care Centre. My heart is youth, my heart is mentoring but for now my efforts are directed at fundraising to help St Michael’s get out of debt and to in general just help and be of value where needed. Nicole is amazing doing everything on a voluntary basis. Thank you Nicole because without you I would not have known how to get involved but more importantly would not have found St Michael’s CYCC. 🙏🤗

Nicole has been an instrument to our organization and youth ministry, she has frequently been assisting us with various activities, fundraisers, and tasks. She has been a delight to work with and brings excitement, determination, and happiness to our programs. She encourages team spirit and has been a positive influence on our leadership and young people, constantly looking for new ways and methods to improve programs and procedures. Other than that, Nicole has exceeded our expectations in connecting us with radio interviews and promotional materials, giving us an edge to our advertising. Nicole has been a blessing to our youth ministry, and we look forward to building a long-lasting relationship with Carers Unite.

My name is Lesley-Ann Gordon. I met Nicole Bailey through a company I worked for at that time.
We worked with Nicole for a month talking about Mental health and what it entails and also how society view mental health. The way Nicole could relate and interact with people was amazing also sharing her own story.
God is doing an amazing work in and through Cares Unite. She has this way of making people feel comfortable and confident.
