Carers Unite started supporting the residents at Douglas Murray Home for the Aged at the beginning of COVID lockdown. Not only does Nicole impact the lives of our residents and contribute towards sustaining our Programme but she pays specific attention to the mental health and wellbeing of our carers. Her motivational talks and recognition is of great value to our staff. She always makes us feel valued and shows such gratitude towards our service to the Aged. We value the impact that Carers Unite makes in our home.

Witnessing and experiencing the work that Carers Unite has done over the last year is nothing short of amazing. Being able to touch and make a difference in the lives of people; of different ages and from various socioeconomic backgrounds; in so many different ways is nothing short of amazing.
Carers Unite – especially their Project Lead, Nicole Roberts – takes nothing but gives their all; and everything in between. This is an organisation that’s able to understand what the need is and how to ensure that the need is met.
Working with Let’s Wake Up, Carers Unite was key in developing its position in promoting goodness within our lives & communities. Therefore, I’d like to extend a warm hearted thank you and well deserved congratulations on the work they’ve achieved in 2022.

It was certainly a new dawn when St Michael’s Cycc had Carers unite involvement in our  fundraising events. When it comes to managing a nonprofit organization, one thing tends to be on the forefront of everyone’s mind: moving the mission forward. How can you best accomplish your goals? How can you meet your fundraising deadline? How can you efficiently serve your clients? This can be a lot of weight on a single nonprofit’s shoulders. Fortunately, not all of these decisions have to rely on one nonprofit. That’s where Carers Unite came to assist us with our fundraising drives. There is power in pairs. This Nonprofit collaboration has  allowed us to make even bigger strides in bettering our community and the service we provide. The involvement of  Carers Unite has brought in different individuals, different experiences and different backgrounds—the perfect mix for a plethora of new ideas. The collaborative think tanks have created solutions to problems which previously might have gone unsolved.

Having worked through 3 waves of COVID at Victoria Hospital our staff were tired despite all the emotional and physical support we have them.
Along comes Nicole with her energetic and infectious energy to donate journals to our staff with a message that they are special, what they’re doing is special and that in all the craziness it’s so important to take some time for themselves, to reflect and think about why they do what they do.
We try so hard to support people through difficult times but sometimes they just need a reminder of the inner resilience and strength within themselves.
Thank you so much Nicole and Carers Unite for giving us a boost, some energy and a reminder that just as we look after others, we need to look after ourselves just as much.

Good morning saints of God
I am previlage to have worked with The Organization Carers Unite and the Founder Nicole Roberts on several projects and believe me it was fun and absolutely amazing and successful.
On all the times we have worked together we clearly reached our goals and mission, which is to reach out to the needy and empower them and equip them with God’s word.
Carers Unite is doing actually what their name is saying which is to care for God’s people and to unite them with God’s work.
Mentioning some of our projects was a youth conference in Eastrige Mitchells plain at our church were Nicole addressed over 150 young people who attended and we could also feed over 300 people with a decent meal with the help of Cares Unite.
On a separate occasion our youth walked in the streets of Eastrige spreading the Gospel and again Carers Unite Joined us in giving out booklets containing the Gospel to over 300 kids in the area and even two souls got saved that day been led to God by one of Nicole’s team members.
We are also having a camp at the end of the year we’re Carers Unite has aslo committed to assist raising funds to assist us to send young people that never saw the outside of Mitchells Plain on a exciting and informative camp.
This is just some of the events and projects to mention, that this Incredible Organization has assisted our community with.
From me the Youth Pastor of Jesus Connection Church a big Thank you to Nicole Roberts and her Team Carers Unite for the amazing work they are doing in the community, believe me guys you are a real blessing and really bringing a smile and hope to several kids out there.

I’ve known and worked with Nicole Roberts for so many years, alongside and spreading the word of all the great work she does with Carers Unite. So many people and places have benefited from CU with Nicole being the selfless, determined, driven and motivated person she is. I love working with and being part of all the CU initiatives. A new found friend of Carers Unite🤗.
So why did I wake up today? So my name is Elvicia Fortuin and today I woke up thankful to be part of this day and to make a difference in the lives of humanity.
So I met Nicole just a few hours before working with her. Oh my what a humble, energetic and amazing being she is. Her passion for what she does is so contagious. Contagious to the point where you want to do good to others all the time.
So, we , Old Mutual, partnered with Nicole from Carers Unite on a Nurses day Project. We acknowledged our un noticed hero’s with a small token of appreciation by donating branded cookies to the nurses at Falsebay Hospital and celebrating the day with them. The experience was ecstatic and to see the excitement and appreciation on the faces of these heros was absolutely phenomenal. Although the cookie might not have been much but it went a long way.
Our morning started off very eventful, but we delivered on what we want to.
It goes without saying that Carers Unite is an amazing organization. Nicole is the epitome of the name of the organization. Really bringing humanity together.

I am a volunteer member of the Sophumelela Sports Association NPO, and on their behalf, I would like to extend our thanks to Nicole Bailey and Carers Unite for donating a large number of football/soccer boots, which we have handed over to one of our beneficiaries, the Sophumelela Football Club in Blikkiesdorp, Delft.
