Carers Unite started supporting the residents at Douglas Murray Home for the Aged at the beginning of COVID lockdown. Not only does Nicole impact the lives of our residents and contribute towards sustaining our Programme but she pays specific attention to the mental health and wellbeing of our carers. Her motivational talks and recognition is of great value to our staff. She always makes us feel valued and shows such gratitude towards our service to the Aged. We value the impact that Carers Unite makes in our home.

I met Nicole about over 2 years ago and from the moment I met Nicole it was just magical, she has a huge heart filled with love, integrity and is driven with a passion for what she believes in and does with her organization, Cares Unite is a pinnacle example of how an organization should approach life. Carers Unite has always and still supports Feed The Need with donations and assists with outreaches, I am humbled to be part of and to collaborate with Carers Unite. Nicole you were meant to be in the lives of the organizations and community projects that you are part of as The Lord has chosen you to bring comfort and caring to all. Stay Blessed

Good morning saints of God

I am previlage to have worked with The Organization Carers Unite and the Founder Nicole Roberts on several projects and believe me it was fun and absolutely amazing and successful.

On all the times we have worked together we clearly reached our goals and mission, which is to reach out to the needy and empower them and equip them with God's word.

Carers Unite is doing actually what their name is saying which is to care for God's people and to unite them with God's work.

Mentioning some of our projects was a youth conference in Eastrige Mitchells plain at our church were Nicole addressed over 150 young people who attended and we could also feed over 300 people with a decent meal with the help of Cares Unite.

On a separate occasion our youth walked in the streets of Eastrige spreading the Gospel and again Carers Unite Joined us in giving out booklets containing the Gospel to over 300 kids in the area and even two souls got saved that day been led to God by one of Nicole's team members.

We are also having a camp at the end of the year we're Carers Unite has aslo committed to assist raising funds to assist us to send young people that never saw the outside of Mitchells Plain on a exciting and informative camp.

This is just some of the events and projects to mention, that this Incredible Organization has assisted our community with.

A new found friend of Carers Unite🤗.

So why did I wake up today? So my name is Elvicia Fortuin and today I woke up thankful to be part of this day and to make a difference in the lives of humanity.

So I met Nicole just a few hours before working with her. Oh my what a humble, energetic and amazing being she is. Her passion for what she does is so contagious. Contagious to the point where you want to do good to others all the time.

So, we , Old Mutual, partnered with Nicole from Carers Unite on a Nurses day Project. We acknowledged our un noticed hero's with a small token of appreciation by donating branded cookies to the nurses at Falsebay Hospital and celebrating the day with them. The experience was ecstatic and to see the excitement and appreciation on the faces of these heros was absolutely phenomenal. Although the cookie might not have been much but it went a long way.

Our morning started off very eventful, but we delivered on what we want to.

It goes without saying that Carers Unite is an amazing organization. Nicole is the epitome of the name of the organization. Really bringing humanity together.

Nicole is a vibrant, outgoing and an exceptional woman who goes for what she wants and always makes the best of a situation.

I have known Nicole and worked with her over the last few years, what an amazing human being with a determined focus on societal transformation and alleviation of hardships for the most vulnerable in our communities. One of the few NPO Leaders I know who “serves” without an expectation of recognition or reward. She continues to earn her living by full time employment and ploughs her energy into Carers Unite out of love for HUMANITY. She’s my Crazi Human doing amazing service in a desperate world. When my foundation launched, Carers Unite (Nicole) was one of the first people who reached out to me offering assistance. The support and help I received was overwhelming and much appreciated. For all the projects the Gordon Foundation has done, Carers Unite has help me with donations as well as assistance.

I am a volunteer member of the Sophumelela Sports Association NPO, and on their behalf, I would like to extend our thanks to Nicole Bailey and Carers Unite for donating a large number of football/soccer boots, which we have handed over to one of our beneficiaries, the Sophumelela Football Club in Blikkiesdorp, Delft.

Carers Unite is a true gem of an organisation, a one of a kind that truly shines like a star! Nicole's passion for the community across many platforms...kids, woman, and the elderly, coupled with her contagious enthusiasm, business marketing strategy as well as her unparalleled seeding into the projects and organisation she is collaborating with makes it a truly unique and pleasant experiance dealing with Carers Unite. Nicole is selfless and has seeded into, guided and matched me up to various people and organisation's beneficial to Unity Youth numerous times, and will always be my go to person/organisation for any new project we dealing with.

It was certainly a new dawn when St Michael's Cycc had Carers unite involvement in our fundraising events. When it comes to managing a nonprofit organization, one thing tends to be on the forefront of everyone’s mind: moving the mission forward. How can you best accomplish your goals? How can you meet your fundraising deadline? How can you efficiently serve your clients? This can be a lot of weight on a single nonprofit’s shoulders. Fortunately, not all of these decisions have to rely on one nonprofit. That's where Carers Unite came to assist us with our fundraising drives. There is power in pairs. This Nonprofit collaboration has allowed us to make even bigger strides in bettering our community and the service we provide. The involvement of Carers Unite has brought in different individuals, different experiences and different backgrounds—the perfect mix for a plethora of new ideas. The collaborative think tanks have created solutions to problems which previously might have gone unsolved.

Nicole is optimistic, enthusiastic and positive about life and the people around her. She is such a pleasure to work with.

Witnessing and experiencing the work that Carers Unite has done over the last year is nothing short of amazing. Being able to touch and make a difference in the lives of people; of different ages and from various socioeconomic backgrounds; in so many different ways is nothing short of amazing.

Carers Unite - especially their Project Lead, Nicole Roberts - takes nothing but gives their all; and everything in between. This is an organisation that's able to understand what the need is and how to ensure that the need is met.

Nicole has been an instrument to our organization and youth ministry, she has frequently been assisting us with various activities, fundraisers, and tasks. She has been a delight to work with and brings excitement, determination, and happiness to our programs. She encourages team spirit and has been a positive influence on our leadership and young people, constantly looking for new ways and methods to improve programs and procedures. I came across Carers Unite while searching through social media to find the perfect NPO for an assignment. When I landed on Carers Unite Instagram page, I knew immediately that it was a perfect match. A raw, open environment where there weren’t many rules on how to help others. Once reaching out to the founder, Nicole, I couldn’t believe how vibrant and excited about life she was. Her relationship with God was made clear, as well as her intentions to help as many as she can. Working with Nicole and Carers Unite Made me see how many good hearts are out there, they just need a little push like I did. Carers Unite is definitely the perfect middle man for those who want to help and the helpless.

I don't know how to thank you enough for the donations that we've received from Carers unite. It's changed the lives of so many people in Mitchells Plain and Samora Machel. Not only have you assisted with donations for the poor but you've been a blessing to our community health workers (carers). We are still in awe of the food buckets, mugs, goodies you blessed our entire team with in December 2020. Further thanks to your support we were able to create a library for the enjoyment of our carers and the children that attend our after-school program. It motivates the little ones to keep reading as they can't wait to read the "BIG" books (they're not allowed to touch the "BIG" books yet😉). I'd like to thank you for your partnership with us. We're all very proud of the work you are doing and more so as you're an Arisen Women yourself. (once an Arisen Women, always an Arisen Women🥰) I pray God blesses you in all areas of your life, that you grow from strength to strength and that your pockets and purse stays full (for the HUSSLE☺️ too).

Carers Unite is an organization very close to my heart. Nicole has taught me through the work she does that helping and showing kindness comes in many forms and is not only limited to what we see as 'the poor'! I collaborated with Nicole and Carers Unite on a recent baking project for International Nurses Day. A wonderful opportunity for my home-based baking enterprise, and all for a good cause too. Nicole's energy and enthusiasm are unmatched!

Stork & Cradle had the opportunity to witness the growth and development of Nicole Roberts as she paved her way to founding her non-profit called Carers Unite. Carers Unite has been an incredible source of support for our “becoming conscious” initiative of Self Love and Self Care. Nicole does a remarkable job facilitating campaigns within the Cape Flats to those that are in need. The vision of Carers Unite is palpable through their mission of uniting the communities and carers. I cannot thank you enough for reaching out and giving me the nudge to be bold in giving back. That was exactly what I needed at this time. I feel incredibly inspired, educated and ready to change the cycle and start building a community of giving back. Having worked through 3 waves of COVID at Victoria Hospital our staff were tired despite all the emotional and physical support we have them.

Along comes Nicole with her energetic and infectious energy to donate journals to our staff with a message that they are special, what they’re doing is special and that in all the craziness it’s so important to take some time for themselves, to reflect and think about why they do what they do.
We try so hard to support people through difficult times but sometimes they just need a reminder of the inner resilience and strength within themselves.

Carers Unite is as the name depicts a NGO that through Nicole's awesome and dynamic leadership seeks to unite various NGO seeking to promote and help those less privileged through collaboration. Nicole is truly gifted at networking and linking the right people with each other making every project seem effortless. I came to Nicole wanting to get into giving back and she successfully linked me up with St Michael’s Child and Youth Care Centre. My heart is youth, my heart is mentoring but for now my efforts are directed at fundraising to help St Michael’s get out of debt and to in general just help and be of value where needed. Nicole is amazing doing everything on a voluntary basis. Thank you Nicole because without you I would not have known how to get involved but more importantly would not have found St Michael’s CYCC. 🙏🤗
